Your physician will have to fill out an order form and send it by secure fax to our facility. Once we receive and review the order(s) needed, our patient services manager will reach out to your physician if there are any extra questions. Our team will then quickly contact your insurance company and begin the pre-authorization process. Once we have confirmation of pre-authorization, we will reach out to you and notify you of approval.
There are many medical injuries and situations that would need emergency care. Our team at East Houston Medical Center is prepared and trained to provide professional and experienced medical care for any emergency situation, for example:

At East Houston Medical Center, we offer a multitude of advanced diagnostic testing, so you get the answers quickly without any extra time wasted. When your results come back, our team will review your results, and discuss the findings with you. They will provide treatment recommendations to manage your emergency which may or may not include admission into our inpatient unit. After your treatment, our team will send you on your way, we do recommend that you follow up with your primary care doctor for any additional care and treatment. East Houston Medical Center accepts walk ins as well for emergency care without the wait.Our inpatient beds are made to keep you as comfortable and private as possible. We have child-themed rooms decorated with murals, soft lighting, and flat-screen TVs. We strive to have you or your child relaxed while you receive the care you need.
