Our board-certified emergency physicians, nurses and staff are prepared to treat everything from minor medical emergencies to major, life-threatening ones.
Our ER Department has a central triage area, private treatment rooms, and fast-track bays for non-emergent health issues. We also have helipad capabilities for use with critical patients. We are staffed by experienced physicians and skilled nurses backed by medical and surgical specialists. Our state-of-the-art equipment provides diagnostics and treatment support for all types of emergency situations.

To ensure you get the care you need, no matter your medical emergency, East Houston Medical Center has inpatient beds. Meaning that our team can transfer you from the care of the emergency room to inpatient care to observe and treat your health issue.
